Volunteers
While the festival takes place in October, you can volunteer with us year round! There are various opportunities to get involved and help out in the months leading up to the event, as well as during festival prep and post-festival activities. The success of this festival will stem from the hard work and hospitality offered by our core groups of dedicated volunteers. We invite you to join the team! Volunteer opportunities are small to large, easy to extensive- but always appreciated.

Front Gate Chairman
As the fron Gate Chairman you will olay a key role in ensuring a smooth and succesful event. Your responsibilities will include recruiting and coordinating a team of deicated volunteers to assist with on premise ticket sales, collecting tickets at the gate, and answering questions.
Children's Activities Chairman
We would love to provide more activities for our young kids during the event. You'll recruit and organize a team of enthusiastic volunteers to help run a kids activity zone. Your leadership will ensure a memorable and engaging experience for our young festival goers. If you love working with children and organizing events, this is the perfect opportunity for you. A great opportunity for a high school team or club looking for volunteer hour too!
VOLUNTEER CHAIRMAN
The chairman of all chairman!! Work directly with the Riverfront Festival organizers to organize volunteers across all categories. Requiring planning and participation before the festival, as well as the day of the festival. Exsisting knowledge or experience in such a role is encouraged.
VOLUNTEER
We’re looking for energetic, dependable volunteers to help make the HDG Extreme Boat Docking & Riverfront Festival a success! Volunteers may assist with event setup, guest check-in, parking, merchandise, activity areas, cleanup, and other festival needs throughout the day. Whether you can help for a few hours or stay for the entire event, your time and support will make a meaningful difference. This exciting community event benefits HDGinBloom and helps support beautification projects throughout Havre de Grace.
